Office European Union
Situated literally at the heart of the European Union since 1998, the office in Brussels serves as a forum of dialogue with the European institutions and the various policy stakeholders sourounding them. Due to its expertise in European affairs, the office provides a crucial part of HBS' transatlantic work and was part of  the foundation's Transatlantic Climate Policy Group in 2008-2009.

Office Prague
The office in Prague coordinates HBS' activities on energy and climate issues in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine). In this perspective the office supports expert studies and organises conferences and capacity building measures which aim at strenghtening the Transatlantic dialogue. The Prague office was opened in 1990 as the first HBS office outside of Germany.

Office North America
Since its opening in 1998 the office in Washington, D.C. has been actively involved in fostering transatlantic dialogue, especially on energy and climate policy. In addition to its Global Environment and Sustainable Development Program, the Washington office has been part of HBS' Transatlantic Climate Policy Group in 2008-2009. The Washington office now coordinates the Climate Network in close cooperation with the HBS' offices in Brussels and Prague.
