Malaiz Daud is Associate Research Fellow at Barcelona Center for International Affairs (CIDOB) and Ph. D. Student at the Freie Universität Berlin. Before moving to Berlin Daud worked in various capacities for the Afghan government as well as for Afghan and international NGOs. He is one of the founders of the Afghan Youth Foundation for Unity and the Young Leaders Forum. He was a member of the Steering Committee of Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief (ACBAR) and the sits in the board of directors of the Afghan Civil Society Forum, the Peace Training and Research Organization and the Human Rights Research and Advocacy Consortium.
