Private and Public Banks - Activities on Banks

November 19, 2008
The network BankTrack collects many of the NGOs with a special focus on private financing, see the members on the BankTrack website (klick the „member“ button).

One important activity of BankTrack with influence on banks is the section „Dodgy Deals“ on the BankTrack website, where member organisations of BankTrack working on specific projects highlight these projects (see the BankTrack website, “dodgy deals” button). This is helpful for banks if they consider getting involved in a project. Given the secrecy of the business they are interested in finding out what might be the risks connected to a certain project, but without letting others know that they consider it.
