The climate summit was hosted 2011 by South Africa which is located in a region that stands to be tremendously affected by climate change. Hardly a year has passed since Sudan split in two. For much of the time, both sides have been embroiled in conflict. The Heinrich Böll Foundation has brought together a group of authors to reflect on the challenges of the post-separation era.
