Anne Klein Women's Award 2015 to Nebahat Akkoc Published: 15 February 2021 On 6 March, the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation awarded the Anne Klein Women's Prize 2015 to the Kurdish woman Nebahat Akkoc for her active resistance against state and domestic violence and the defence of women's rights.
Making Gender Democracy a Reality: The Anne Klein Women’s Award Published: 13 June 2014 In honour of Anne Klein the Heinrich Böll Foundation has created the Anne Klein Women’s Award. Anne Klein, a dedicated lawyer and openly lesbian politician, has been a pioneer of feminist causes. She served as the first feminist Women’s Senator in Berlin’s state government. The prize is annually awarded to women who have shown exemplary commitment for making gender democracy a reality.

Anne Klein Women’s Award 2013: Lepa Mlađenović, Serbian Women’s and Human Rights Activist Published: 6 December 2012 Lepa Mlađenović is the winner of the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Anne Klein Women’s Award. The award ceremony will take place in Berlin on 1 March 2013. The prize money is 10.000 €.
