Esther Straub has been the 5th generation Managing Director of the Clemens Härle brewery in Leutkirch in the Allgäu region since 2022. She is not only committed to issues such as responsible business in the region, climate and environmental protection and equal rights, but also implements them in her company: for example, the brewery sources its raw materials directly from farmers in the region, brews almost 75 per cent of its beer from organic ingredients and only uses renewable energy on the company premises.

Esther Straub studied a Bachelor of Governance and Public Policy in Passau and Aix-en Provence, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Mannheim and Istanbul and then completed an Executive Master of Family Entrepreurship at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen.

She is a member of the SME Advisory Board of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection under Robert Habeck and spokesperson for the Leutkirch chapter of Bündnis 90/ Die Grünen.
