José Pablo Quiñones is a lawyer from the UADY Law School in Mexico. He is a Mexican activist focused on education and human rights. He holds multiple diplomas, including from the University of Puebla, the Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Puebla, the Centro de Estudios y Capacitación Política de Colombia and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation, Uruguay. He has founded the Red Del Frente Nacional para la Paz A.C. and Vice President of the Merida Chapter of the Global Shapers Community, the World Economic Forum's initiative for young leaders. He is a founding partner and President of the organization Jornada de Derechos Humanos A.C. He is a permanent member of the Youth Program of the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates as well as a member of the Global Alumni Network of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. He was recognized by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State as one of the top 280 emerging entrepreneurial leaders in Latin America, Canada, and the Caribbean, by being awarded the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) scholarship.
