Dr Keely Boom is Executive Officer of the Climate Justice Programme, a Research Associate at the Institute for Sustainable Futures (University of Technology, Sydney) and a practising lawyer. She has over a decade of experience in research, legal and advocacy work within academia and the non-profit sector. Her PhD thesis examined exposure to legal risk for climate change damage under the international climate change regime and UN Law of the Sea Convention, with a case study on Tuvalu and Australia. Keely has a number of leading publications on international climate law and has convened national and international workshops on climate litigation.
