Italo Nogueira, 31, is journalist of the Rio branch office of "Folha de S. Paulo". He covers public administration, politics and human rights. He received the Chico Mendes Medal of Resistance (Medalha Chico Mendes de Resistência) by the Torture Never Again human rights organization (Grupo Tortura Nunca Mais) in 2009. The Order of Attorneys of Brazil (Section Rio Grande do Sul) and the Justice and Human Rights Movementawarded him twice - in 2009 and 2014 - with the Journalism Human Rights Award (Prêmio Direitos Humanos de Jornalismo.
