Kathleen McAfee is an Associate Professor at the International Relations Department at San Francisco State University. She holds a doctorate in Geography and has worked many years in international development. Kathleen McAfee has authored a book and many magazine and journal articles about environment, hunger, agriculture, biotechnology trade, debt, and social justice. She has also been a consultant to UN agencies and maintains ties with research centers, and NGOs, and activist social movements in different world regions.
