after ten years at our offices in Hackesche Höfe, the Heinrich Böll Foundation is about to move to its newly built headquarters at Schumannstraße 8 in Berlin-Mitte opposite the Deutsches Theater.

The new building provides modern office space for the Foundation’s 185 staff members and, with its succinct architectural shape, is a landmark in the centre of Berlin. Its architecture combines a classical cube structure with a floating, fully glazed first floor that will function as a conference centre (seating around 300 people) for the many national and international events organised by the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
