The importance of Asia for current and future global developments cannot be overemphasized. Asia has highly dynamic societies that are increasingly shaping technological innovations, influencing global economic and environmental developments, and redefining multilateral cooperation.
The Heinrich Böll Foundation opened a new regional office in Hong Kong in 2020 to promote understanding between Europe and Asia for development and transformative trends in Asia. We support fact-based exchange through research, analysis and publications and aim to bring together Asian and European stakeholders, experts and researchers from different disciplines on issues of technology, environment and governance.
