Maurício Angelo, founder of the Brazilian Center for Investigative Journalism on Mining, Observatório da Mineração. As a journalist, he works for the Institute of Socioeconomic Studies (INESC) as part of the project “Investments and Rights in the Amazon.” He also writes for media outlets such as Intercept Brasil, Repórter Brasil, and Folha de S. Paulo. His areas of expertise include reporting on politics, the Amazon, mining, social and environmental conflicts, indigenous groups, and human rights.
