Chanathip Suwannanon is presently an MA student in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality programme at the Thammasat University, Thailand. She is currently researching kathoey history through the analysis of personal formal/informal archives and applied queer archival theory.

Chanathip’s interest in kathoey and transgender issues crosses a variety of disciplinary fields: History, Art, Media, Political Science, Anthropology and Ethnography.
