Ameenah A. Sawwan is a Syrian campaigner and activist, based in Berlin since 2016. She has experience in advocacy and campaigning, communication and media, and has spent the last eight years working on Syria for a range of NGOs and media outlets. Ameenah A. Sawwan is also a member of the Syrian Women’s Political Movement. She currently works for the human rights and advocacy group The Syria Campaign, where she leads their work on justice and accountability in Syria.
