Aleksandra Janowska

Aleksandra studied law and literature in Poland, Ukraine, and Germany. In Warsaw and Berlin, she gained experience in international historical and political education projects and worked on the culture of memory in Germany, Israel, and Eastern Europe. For three years at the Foundation Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft (Remembrance, Responsibility and Future) she co-created pilot programmes strengthening human rights and inspiring critical reflection on history. She is interested in the possibilities of combating contemporary forms of discrimination and marginalization beyond classical educational formats.
