Paritta (Mai) Wangkiat is an award-winning Thai journalist who for over a decade has reported on human rights, health, environment, and transboundary development in Thailand and the Mekong region. Her work appears regularly in Thailand’s largest English language publication The Bangkok Post as well as other English language media in Thailand. She regularly undertakes research projects about economic and social equity for Thai educational institutions and organizations. Paritta graduated with a Master's degree in political economy and won first prize in the print category of Amnesty International Thailand's 2017 Media Awards.
