Tatiana Deane de Abreu Sá is a researcher and academic with a solid background in environmental sciences and sustainable development. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy from the School of Agronomy of the Amazon, a Master's degree in Biometeorology from Utah State University (USA), a Ph.D. in Plant Ecophysiology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Addtionally, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Agroecology.
She was general director of The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária, Embrapa) Eastern Amazon between September 2003 and January 2005, until she took up the position of executive director of Embrapa in Brasilia, which she held until April 2011. Currently, she continues her affiliation with Embrapa Amazônia Oriental as a dedicated researcher.
