By blocking numerous EU legislative processes, Germany’s three-party “traffic light coalition” has wreaked havoc in Brussels. Given the uncertainty surrounding the makeup of the new European Parliament and the presidential election in the United States, it is clear that a U-turn is needed in German EU policy.

The European elections 2024 take place from June 6th to 9th against the backdrop of multiple crises. Our study captures the mood of citizens before the election and shows that interest in the European elections is high.

It has been now almost one year since Germany introduced its feminist foreign and development policy. For FAIR SHARE of Women Leaders, this endeavour meant to influence especially the German process of implementing these feminist policies.
