Alex Brianson (formerly Warleigh-Lack) is Professor of EU Politics at the University of Surrey. He is also a member of the Advisory Board at GreenHouse, the UK-based think tank in political and economic ecology (www.greenhousethinktank.org). He authored the 2014 GreenHouse report on Greening the EU, which is available on their website. A former member of staff of the then-Chair of the European Parliament Environment Committee (1996-7), his academic work focuses on the politics of European integration, the reform of the EU, and ecological politics. He is particularly interested in how European and international politics can, or could, contribute to a more sustainable way of life.
