Angelo Gentili, national director of agriculture for Legambiente and coordinator of Legambiente’s National Center for Agroecology, serves on the board of directors of Fairtrade Italia, a fair trade organization. He is a member of the board of directors of FIRAB, the Italian Foundation for Research in Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture; and he coordinates the national organic wine exhibition organized by Legambiente in collaboration with the University of Pisa.

Secretary of Legambiente Toscana from 1990 to 1994, he is currently a member of Legambiente’s national secretariat and coordinator of Festambiente, the national event organized by the “Swan” association, which serves as a model event at the national level based on ecological sustainability.
