Bevil Lucas is one of Reclaim the City’s leaders and is a resident of Cissie Gool House (Ex-Woodstock Hospital). He is the Woodstock Residents’ Association’ Chairperson.

Bevil Lucas is a long-standing union organizer, anti-apartheid and housing activist.

He holds a post graduate diploma in heritage and museum studies UWC. Having been part of the formation of the Cosatu, for many years he served in various positions in the trade union movement.
