Dr. Rashmi Singh is a political sociologist who researches Indian politics, electioneering and political candidacy. She received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2021 and is currently Assistant Professor at the O. P. Jindal Global University. She teaches inter-disciplinary courses on contemporary Indian politics and elections, social movements and organisational politics, and gender and politics. Previously, she was a Junior Research Fellow at the Merian-Tagore International Centre of Advanced Studies in New Delhi.
