Jason Rosario Braganza is a Pan-African economist and the Incubator of the Fikra Collective, a Pan-African, interdisciplinary, multi-pronged sounding board designed to future-proof Africa’s transformation. He is a civil society advocate with over fifteen years’ experience providing high-level advocacy support, policy analysis on public finance, debt justice, taxation, illicit financial flows (IFFs), across Africa. Jason led African CSOs in calling for Common African Position on Debt and establishing an Inter-governmental process for a UN Framework Convention on Sovereign Debt. Jason’s work focuses on Development Finance, Trade and Industrial Policy, and Poverty and Inequality.
