Karol Daniela Sánchez has a degree in Literature and Spanish Language from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, and is co-founder of the Zurronas Feminist Collective, which fights for the defence of women's human rights, especially sexual and reproductive rights. In 2020, together with other social organisations, she won the "Poetic Truth" call for proposals in alliance with the Commission for the Clarification of Truth and Non-Repetition with the project "Recipe Book of Life": Stories of Women and the LGBTIQ Population in the context of the Colombian armed conflict. She defines herself as a young woman, artist and full-time popular educator.
