Marcelo Montenegro is Program Coordinator for Social and Environmental Justice at the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Brazil. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM) and a postgraduate degree in international relations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He has organized numerous campaigns and collaborations with civil society organizations on agroecology and food security, climate change, right to the city and gender relations in Brazil.
