María Lobato is human rights lawyer and practitioner focusing on issues related to gender justice, rule of law and development. She has a LL.B. with Honours from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a LL.M. (Human Rights and Social Justice) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. María has worked on matters of transitional justice and international criminal law at the Argentinian judiciary, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Cambodia.
