Levan Lortkipanidze is a PhD candidate at the department of Political Sciences I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and an elected delegate at the TSU's representative board (Senate). He is one of the founders of leftist-ecologist movement "Green Fist" and researchers' union "Tbilisi Fabian Society". His research interests are history of leftist movements and comparative party politics.
