Chen Qi, PhD student, Institute of China Studies, University of Freiburg. She completed her master’s degree in Foreign and Applied Linguistics at Peking University in 2020 and now is mainly interested in Feminist Theories and Actions. Her doctoral project (2020-2026), based on extensive fieldwork, strives to evaluate the emancipatory potential of grassroots feminism in contemporary China.
