Fabienne Hoelzel, is an architect from Switzerland and the founder, owner, and director of FABULOUS URBAN (2014) and of the FABULOUS URBAN | NIGERIA FOUNDATION (2021) as an urban design, research, and planning agency specializing in regions of the Global South. The Foundation also acts as a think tank drawing up position statements and developing background infornmmationj. A key strategy in the projects is empowering communities – and therein especially the women and girls. 

Fabienne Hoelzel is Full Professor of Urban Design at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.
