Margarita Sarmiento is a social communicator and journalist. She is a Specialist in Social Policy and a Master in Political Science from the Pontifical Javeriana University, Columbia. She has experience in the fields of communication for development, communication and political strategy, advising, managing and implementation of social communication projects from a gender perspective as well as in directing communication campaigns.
