Rahmatullah Amiri is a Research Coordinator with The Liaison Office (TLO) -  the partner organization of Heinrich Böll Foundation in Afghanistan - and also a Freelance Consultant. He has more than 13 years of research experience in Afghanistan and Pakistan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan) focusing on social and political issues, security issues, armed non-state actors, peace and reconciliations, countering violent extremism, international humanitarian law and humanitarian access. 

He holds a BA in Political Science and Public Administration of the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).
