Tobias Gerhard Schminke(@TobiasSchminke) founded the poll and election result aggregator Europe Elects in May 2014. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Science with a Political Science minor at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, and Haifa University, Israel. He graduated with a Master of Arts in International Development Studies from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada, with the Governor's Gold Medal in 2020. Tobias Gerhard Schminke was the editor-in-chief of treffpunkteuropa.de from 2015 to 2018.
