Conference Centre

Beletage Conference Centre

At the heart of the German capital, close to political events, in 2008 the Heinrich Böll Foundation opened its new building, with the Beletage Conference Centre.

Modern architecture for sustainable visions
The building’s modern architecture stands for sustainable and forward-looking ideas. Transparency, open communication, creativity and professionalism mark our conference centre’s atmosphere. The centre combines ecological awareness with functional architecture and state-of-the-art technology.

With its extensive and diverse range of spaces, Beletage offers you an impressive location for your congress, conference, seminar or reception. The conference centre is flooded with natural daylight thanks to its striking glass façade.

Clear structures for clear thinking
Our rooms are flexible, and can be adapted to your event’s requirements using mobile partitions. They can be fully or partially darkened with curtains. The airy expanse of the foyers creates space for conversations, presentations or exhibitions around your event. All the rooms are fully wheelchair accessible.

A space for your own event
We work with a pool of creative and experienced providers to fulfil your additional needs such as catering, interpreting, video recording or decorations. Our top-quality multi-media technology can be used within a single room or across several rooms.

Why not take a personal guided tour of our conference centre, to see its advantages for yourself? Our highly committed team will be happy to advise you and support your event. You can send us details of your planned function using the online enquiry form.

We look forward to your visit!

Energy Concept

technology space
The energy concept for new head office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Berlin puts the building in the ecological vanguard. Highly innovative technology in small doses creates a pleasant working environment in the modern office spaces. It boasts an energy consumption of only 55.7 kWh/m2 , which undercuts the legal maximum by half. This makes the building a leader in the field of modern office and conference centre design.

Who we are

Fostering democracy and upholding human rights, taking action to prevent the destruction of the global ecosystem, advancing equality between women and men, securing peace through con flict prevention in crisis zones, and defending the freedom of individuals against excessive state and economic power – these are the objectives that drive the ideas and actions of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. We maintain close ties to the German Green Party (Alliance 90/The Greens) and as a think tank for green visions and projects, we are part of an international network encompassing well over 100 partner projects in approximately 60 countries.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation works independently and nurtures a spirit of intellectual openness. We maintain a world wide network with currently 30 international offices. We cooperate closely with 16 state-level Böll Foundations in each of Germany’s federal states, and we support talented, socio-politically engaged undergraduate and graduate students in Germany and abroad.

We gladly follow Heinrich Böll’s exhortation for citizens to get involved in politics, and we want to inspire others to do the same.
