To help you find your way around the website, we have compiled some tips on how to use it.
In the top left corner, you will find the website’s logo, which you can click at any time to return to the homepage.
On the right side, there are icons for Easy Language and Sign Language, allowing you to switch to the accessible versions. These icons are always visible whenever an accessible version (e.g., in Easy Read or Sign Language) exists alongside the original. The version for people with hearing impairments presents the content of a page as videos in German Sign Language, respectively International Sign.
Next to these icons, there is a language switch for German/English, shown if a translation into the respective language is available for a given article. Adjacent to this is the so-called Hamburger menu with three horizontal lines.
Opening this menu provides access to the main sections of the website.
At the top of the menu, you will find the search function.
At the bottom of the menu, there are links to our contact page, job offers, press contacts, and the option to subscribe to our newsletter.
Further down, you will find links to our social media channels.
To stay up to date, you can follow us on our social media platforms.
Click the cross icon to close the menu.
On our homepage, you will find various information: current articles, notices about events and
publications, as well as our thematic areas—our content focuses.
From here, you can also access our institutes: the GreenCampus Education Academy, the Gunda Werner Institute for Feminism and Gender Democracy, the migration policy portal “Heimatkunde,” and our Scholarships.
Below that, you will find our podcast series. On the homepage and all main pages, you have the option to subscribe to our newsletter.
On top of the footer, there is an additional listing of menus, our contact information, a link to the overview of all Heinrich Böll Foundation country offices, our overseas offices, thematic portals, media libraries, and Green websites.
Legal notices, such as data protection regulations, imprint, image credits, and the accessibility declaration, are provided at the very bottom of the page.
