Dr Thomas Fues worked for many years as an academic in the field of international relations/development policy, including in a leading position at the German Development Institute (DIE). For several years, he has been involved in civil society remembrance work on (post-)colonialism and the German Revolution of 1918/19 with a focus on the meaning of history for the present and the future.
