Erin Kamler is an academic researcher, writer, and international gender specialist who has worked in Southeast Asia for the past decade. Her expertise includes peacebuilding and post-conflict regeneration, trafficking and migration, Women, Peace and Security policymaking, and international development communication. She has worked in consultation with civil society women's organizations, NGOs, members of government, the UN and the private sector. Her new book, Rewriting the Victim: Dramatization as Research in Thailand's Anti-trafficking Movement will be published by Oxford University Press in 2019. Dr. Kamler is also an award-winning playwright and composer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
