Johanna Son, a journalist and editor based in Bangkok, has followed regional issues for some three decades. The founder of the Reporting ASEAN media programme, Johanna is also a media trainer, working with trainers and journalists in Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.

She contributes analyses and features to news outlets such as the ‘Bangkok Post’ and ‘Nikkei Asian Review’. She is the author of ‘Reportage Around ASEAN-related Issues: A Tip Sheet' (2019).
