Anna Schwarz has been Senior Programme Manager North Africa since September 2022. From May 2019 to September 2022, she headed the EU Foreign and Migration Policy Programme at the Heinrich Böll Foundation's Brussels office.

Prior to that, she worked for the former Chair of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament, Rebecca Harms, in Brussels and Osnabrück, and as an programme manager at the Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdiensten e.V. in Berlin.

During her studies, Anna Schwarz worked as a research assistant at the Peace Research Institute Francfort. She holds a Bachelor in "European Studies" from teh University of Osnabrück and a Master in "International Studies/Peace and Conflict Research" from the Goethe University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt.
