Jenny García Ruales ist Amazonasanthropologin und wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin des Projekts „Amazon of Rights“, einer Kollaboration der Universität Erfurth, dem RIFS Potsdam und La Trobe in Austrialien. Sie war Associate Fellow der Max-Planck-Forschungsgruppe ‚Umweltrechte im kulturellen Kontext‘ am Max-Planck-Instritut für Sozialanthropologie in Halle (Saale), Doktorandin der Phillips-Universität Marburg und ehemalige Stipendiatin der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.
