Janine Korduan

Janine Korduan holds a BA in Environmental Science and Technology from the Technical University (TU) of Berlin and is currently working on her master’s thesis, which analyses the political barriers to establishing a circular economy of nutrients derived from sanitation systems in Germany.

For the past 15 years, she has been working in Germany, Belgium and Ethiopia with diverse organizations and NGOs (Hans Verolme – Climate Advisors Network, ttz Bremerhaven, Kollektiv für angepasste Technik, Friends of the Earth, Flussbad Berlin) on various projects as well as with student groups at TU Berlin and in the engineering offices on the topics of climate change, climate politics, water resources, sustainability and low-tech solutions. Janine teaches students at TU Berlin during the summer and is active in her free time with her open metal workshop as well as her YouTube channel “She*fix Tutorials”.
