Mariam Chachia
director

Mariam Chachia worked in film and television production for several years after graduating from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University in 2003. She made her first documentary film, KIROV STREET 8, in 2012.
In 2014, she founded OpyoDoc, an organisation committed to promoting social change through its projects. LISTEN TO THE SILENCE is OpyoDoc’s first production; the film took the Next Masters Competition award at DOK Leipzig in 2016.
