Meat Atlas 2016 – Germany Regional
More and more people want to know how their food, and especially the meat they eat, is produced. They ask questions about the impact of meat production on the environment, health, and justice. This encourages many initiatives and companies to promote ecological forms of animal husbandry. At the same time, however, new mega-stables are being approved and meat production for international markets is being expanded.
The 2016 Meat Atlas – Germany Regional takes a look at the federal states and uses numerous examples to illustrate how social demands and the reality of meat production are often worlds apart in many places.
