The support of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, and intersex individuals is an integral part of the self-understanding of the Heinrich Böll Foundation and shapes the foundation's national and international work. Therefore, the promotion of human rights for individuals with non-conforming sexual orientation and gender identity is firmly anchored in the foundation's work in democracy and human rights policies.
